What a beautiful day we had last weekend, apple picking, a treasured event in our area. The leaves were not at their fall peak yet to get the full effect of the stunning view of the Shawangunk Mountain range turning colors behind the rolling hills of the apple orchards. This coming weekend there should be more of that. My kids and friends also had fun running through the enormous corn maze. I always get a kick out of hiding and jumping out to scare them. Just my idea of getting them warmed up for Halloween. I think we will be going again this weekend and I will be shooting more photos. Dressel is my favorite Orchard for the views, and the kids love the animals. They also have cider donuts! They are Located on Route 208 South of New Paltz.
